Belden Town Resort and Lodge

My favorite spot to stop for lunch when I'm riding my motorcycle through Feather River Canyon. The spot itself is more of a bar look. Old, ran down with some character. The burger I had was KILLER!!! The onion rings were delicious too! My cousin had a quesadilla. He didn't complain so I guess it was good. Definitely stop to check this place out if you're going through the area. The outside seating area has great views!

My husband and I stopped here on our way up to Reno. We had commented in the past that we should stop in Belden and check it out, and it was about lunch time, so this time we actually did.||It was a Friday afternoon, and driving across the bridge to access Belden, it looked like we were entering a very tiny ghost town - There were no cars, no people, and buildings, like a car repair shop, that appeared to be abandoned. We went to the right, and there was the "Resort & Lodge" which also appeared pretty abandoned, but an "open" sign assured us otherwise.||After wandering around like lost chickens, we figured out how to get to the restaurant area of the lodge, and were smacked in the face with the smell of old cigarettes. Drove by this place a couple times during our work commute. Decided to stop in our last day for dinner. What a fantastic little gem. Lots of interesting things to see, excellent historical value and surprisingly delicious food. 😋 I'd highly recommend the delicious burgers here. I'll definitely be stopping here again, the next time we're in the area.

A great place to visit. Quite relaxing and the food is pretty awesome.

Meah… this obviously was once quite the destination. Time and neglect have made this once proud establishment pretty shabby. We pulled our trailer there for a festival, Soul Camp Out. The grounds are not well maintained and there are more than a few permanent residents who live in squalor. I wish the establishment well, but can’t recommend it other than the picturesque location.
