Beaverwood RV Park

OK, power went out at our site, been here over two weeks. Called Misty and she said the power company would have to fix it. Two hours later and no power, 94F, 111F comfort index and sitting outside. Would have moved to site next door, but power is out on that site, too. All other sites still have power. I'm a retired electrical engineer and have checked my power box AND the main at the pedestal with my voltmeter, and all breakers are on (both sites) but no voltage. I would be tolerant of this failure. However, we have been constantly contacting management over the internet service. It has only been up for four days, and NEVER for two consecutive days since we arrived. Grass is NOT mowed and knee high. Management so far refuses to at least pro-rate our payment so we can move elsewhere. The

I contacted Misty. She is very nice and we agreed to my paying $450. We decided I would move my travel trailer there on or before We’d. Feb. 8, 2023. My son had one day to help me get it moved there. When we got there the power was not activated on the lot. I was promised it would be. They only had 50 Amp service so I had to buy an adapter but still the power was not on. I was tired, it was cold and late. She suggested I move it to another lot but that lot had two ditches surrounding it and I knew come Summer that mosquitoes would eat us up. I was not going to move it to that lot. The power never got fixed on the original lot that my camper was on. I never got to use my camper there, not once. The RV park is run down owners don't care about the place grass is way too tall on certain lots even after you move out they still charge you rent and when you need to get a hold of the company nobody answers the phone and you don't hear nobody to work anything out me and my husband were renters there and they allow just about anybody in there... Has beautiful lots to rent but they definitely need to go thru and make some of their tenants clean the lots the front half at a glance looks rough from all the extra added things on the lots but does seem to be a quiet park

I just got notified, by google maps to rate my visit here. My husband and I lived here full-time for, just shy of a year. We really loved the old owner and managers. It was small and really just a place to park with hookups but it was cozy and well kept up. I would have suggested it to any of my friends. It's proximity to Athens and the new industrial park, off of old hwy 20 was great. A month ago I would have given this place 5 stars and it was called Stewart Rd Rv park, then.
