This park is a hidden gem. Especially so close to a freeway. Attended daily, nice restroom. I did get profiled by the Seward county sherriff as I sported a WA state license plate on my vehicle. That's fine, but why don't you hassle others in the park? Myself in a tent AND my van was assaulted by searchlights from the local constabulary. Not sure if they have enough to do?!?
Great stop…friendly people and walk to downtown for breakfast is only a couple of minutes
Our Scout Troop stayed there twice. Nice place to stay. Great facilities. It's now our 'go to' location when traveling out West.
This campground is free for 3 day stays. There is water and electric access 20-30-50 amp. No dump at the campground. The town of Beaver Crossing is just south of I80. Be sure to stop in the block long hardware store it is amazing!
Great stop for a night.
