I had the privilege of staying here during my son's youth hunt and it is one of the most serene, beautiful, and iconic places I've ever stayed at in Arizona. With just enough comfort to keep the city folks happy, the wildlife and surrounding scenery will have you forgetting that hustle and bustle in no time.
Three meals per day and cabins that range from rustic survivors of the Wallow fire to almost new. Small, family run affair in a pretty setting but no horses or trail rides and no structured activities. Open during summer from May-Labor Day but is converted to a managed camp for hunting during big game seasons. Due to the cattle pasture and fencing that extends almost to the cabin porches the owners are considering a no no dogs allowed policy.
This place was easy to find, great set up and wonderful people! We got to explore and even saw a black bear in the area. Would highly recommend!
