Bear Paw Ski Bowl

Hidden gem in Montana. It has to be a heavy snow year for them to open as they rely on nature alone. Went last weekend for the first time in a while and the conditions were unbelievable amazing! All volunteer run, one lift with 2 different unloading ramps, fun environment. It's cheap, and the snow is deep!! Go support this small Montana ski hill!

Well groomed. Multiple trails. Not crowded. We were very pleasantly surprised on our first visit. Pay cash at the mountain, or buy tickets and rent equipment at the store in Havre.

Bear skiing. The brochure made no mention of the dangers inherent with skiing with a pair of bears taped to your feet. If given the choice I would have much preferred traditional non living skis, perhaps made of wood or some kind of synthetic polymer. Now my legs have been eaten and you will be hearing from my attorney. good day.

You can see for miles and miles and miles. FUN skiing. but out in the middle of Nowhere, no really you feel like a pioneer as you drive up to the lift. yes lift. BUT oh what a reward.
