Bear Mountain Inn

The main inn itself is pretty nice. Cafe, gift shop, rooftop bar, restaurant and spa. The cafe was okay, basically expensive cafeteria food but got the job done. The 1915 restaurant was much nicer. The spa was the best part, everyone was so professional and kind and the massages were incredible. Overall it’s a pretty cool place, however the booking failed to explain the difference between the stone cottages vs other areas. We booked a stone cottage thinking we’d have the whole cottage to ourselves but it’s a cramped building with 6ish guest rooms and a shared living area with very thin walls and the cottages are separated from the main inn, it was really inconvenient having to drive back to the main inn every single time. This is our 2nd stay and have truly enjoyed each. The staff are super helpful and accommodating. Will, the manager is a true gentleman. During our 1st visit the resort lost power and he even went out to get our food delivery. We will always come back to BMI when in town.

Quick much needed weekend getaway to bear mountain. Area was beautiful. But would not recommend staying at the Bear Mountain Inn Lodges. You hear everything from all the rooms, and i mean everything but worse then that is you can’t control the heat in your own room and it must have been 95 or 100. Instant sweating as soon as you walked in. I love my saunas but this was worse.

We held an anniversary celebration at the merry go round ||Venue, staff, food were all exceptional. ||Our guests loved the experience and atmosphere. ||Our guests booked rooms at the inn, stone cottages and the lodge. ||Breakfast buffet we hosted the following morning at the inn was excellent as well.

An historic building that could use some freshening up and creative holiday decorations. Did not expect artifical trees! Breakfast and lunch are really not available if you want a nice, quality meal. Dinner was OK, not anything great. Weather was tough, and construction took away from the natural beauty.
