Bear Lake Country Cabins

These cabins are really cute, we stayed in the Bigfoot cabin that slept 5. I saw lots of older reviews talking about how run down they are, but that isn't the case any longer. They are very nice, fully renovated. This cabin is great for a family of 5 as long as you're not taking an older person or someone with mobility issues to stay with you. They do have a different cabin, I believe that has a better bed for a mobility challenge individual to stay in. The beds in this cabin were bunk bed style, I'm 57 and have had several knee surgeries and was able to get up into one of the bunks, but if i was overweight at all, that probably would have been an issue. The cabins are very beautiful but unfortunately they are very neglected, it is not possible that they do not invest anything to maintain them and only change something when it falls to pieces of age.|| The fans are very old, crooked and no longer work well, the decorative lamps no longer work, they don't even have the power switch, it must have broken years ago, the coffee pot dirty and very old, there are no glasses of any kind, no There are no drawers or any furniture to store your clothes just a closed drawer that serves as a table for the refrigerator and microwave but that is just a waste of space.|| The beds are old and the sheets even older. The mattress is old and uncomfortable, we literally couldn't sleep from back pain, we booked two nights and couldn't dare to spend another

We went down during Raspberry Days and at the last minute decided to stay. Found these cabins at the last minute. The lady in the office was wonderful and accommodating. The cabins were cozy. No they weren’t high end condos on the lake and were a little outdated but they were clean and comfortable. No one was noisy and no one bothered us. It was quiet and peaceful. It’s a small town and if you are used to Marriott like I am then you better drive to another larger town. I would stay there again.

I would indeed go again and enjoy the quietness and the outdoors beauty with the nice folks that run the town. The cabin itself was indeed very comfy. Has some space to be able to move around and enjoy. They were separated from each other, so you did not have to hear noise from the next person over. All doors we're runed one codes, with maid things a lot easier than having a key or card. A lot of site seeing and activity can be done all year long around this area

We enjoyed our stay at these cabins. The only complaint is that there was no A/C in the small cabins. They did have fans so we were able to cool off at night but it was hot during the afternoon. Other than that it was great.
