The Bear Island grade trail is a convenient trail at a convenient location for non-hunters. It is great for bike riders that want to enjoy nature and get a glimpse of Alligators. If you are lucky, you may even see a Bobcat.
Really enjoyed our guided bike tour of Bear Island with our volunteer Ranger! It was an easy ride 4hr ride with lots of stops to enjoy the wildlife! Have to make reservations as it’s only available a few months out of the year but highly recommend!
Great bike ride,saw lots of critters. The only drawback of the trip is the road dust.
We had a great hike. We saw 2 bears 🐻 a doe and a buck as well as 2 snakes.
Great gravel bike riding. Week kept restroom facilities.
