Beals Point Campground

Great campground. Trash collection, water spigots, full restrooms, showers and wash tub. Good parking, picnic tables, fire pits and level ground. Very natural and near lake access.

This is a very nice campground, with full hookups at a reasonable price. I'd say it's a 4 1/2 star rating. What makes it lose 1/2 star is the noise and loss of access because of a lot of construction around the Folsom Dam. We have really enjoyed our stays here, but it is very popular and it is hard to book more than a few days in a row. Also, I was surprised to find that, even though actual AT&T signal strength was not high (typically 2 bars) we had decent 5G data speed (30-50 Mbit) and could surf and stream with using our phones as hotspots.

Showed you in our rain. Friendly front gate staff. Camp hosts waking around to check on things. Clean, safe, loud of trees around. Loud hwy noise. Can walk over to the dam where tons of people have dogs and wander. Running path, people biking etc. our family walked many times beside of this.

Lots of trees and brush have been thinned out. So not as lush as it was when I went there years ago

Great location, staff are rude and have attitude.
