Baymont by Wyndham Miami Doral

I visited Doral on a business trip & and encountered a horrible experience in the 1st hotel I checked in. I immediately started to look for another hotel, however, due to the time & days I was staying in, I couldn't find a good hotel or rates. I went into Spark & Moises a very nice, polite young man at the front desk greet me very professionally & put my mind at ease by answering all my questions and making sure the room had all I needed for my stay. I not only recommend this hotel, but I'll also be booking all my future stays with them.

I traveled to Miami to support my cousin because her daughter was airlifted from the virgin island to Miami Children’s hospital in critical condition. I need a place to stay over night. After calling several hotels, I came across the Baymont by Wyndham. I booked an executive king size suite for 300 plus a night. When I got to the hotel after 1230 am last night. I was told the hotel was sold out for the night. The kind room desk person offered me a room with a king bed. I was so exhausted I took it. The price was the same $307 for the night. My room smelled like it was not opened in several years. Musky and damp. Linen was clean but the room smelled awful. I don’t recommend this hotel. It looks nice from outside but management horrible. I am writing this from the double bed room. The ceiling needs to paint or renovate. Here is no table lamp or floor lamp, no garbage bin in the room. We notified the front desk. The staff came to see and said that we don’t have lamp now, we cannot give a lamp. So, we turn on the basin light in front of the washroom through the night. I had my 2 kids in dark. Later they gave a garbage bin. Air conditioner cannot be operated. The room was so cold, I wanted to turn up the temperature but no button is working. I had to turn it off. Not a good experience here. I would not even give 1 star, just because of post I had to.

🚫🔴🚫🔴🚫🔴🚫🔴🚫 I do not recommend it This hotel is embarrassing, it is the worst hotel in Miami. This entire hotel was old, ugly. Everything is broken, it looks neglected, it has no maintenance. When you arrive at the reception, there is no one. You always have to wait for someone to come out, they are very rude, they don't treat you correctly. It's as if they were doing you a favor by welcoming you to that hotel that is not cheap at all. They do not clean the room daily, they clean it every three days and if you ask the room service person to give you a towel, they are also very rude because you have to use the dirty towels three days in a row.
