Baymont by Wyndham Jewett

We have stayed here in the past with no issues. This time, our room was crawling with roaches, which didn’t become evident until we returned to the room at night. It was horrible and all other hotels in the area were fully committed.||||I did get a full refund but I had to lay all our stuff out in the parking lot and repack to ensure we didn’t take any “hitchhikers” with us.||||I have stayed in over 200 hotels in the past 20 years. This one is the worst!

Positive: The woman at the front desk was very friendlyThe bed was comfortable Negative: Very dirty. Lots of the guys staying her obviously work out in the field - but there was no effort to clean up the mud, the things spilled, the dirt throughout the hotel.The couches were very worn and threadbare.NO food left in the dining room at 7:30am

Solid stay. Decent breakfast. Had a stale smelling room a time or two but generally a good stay. Internet works and deep selection of TV channels. DG Market only a few feet away with all groceries and goods you could need. Nice coffee shop a half block away.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times, both before and after the change in ownership. Overall, the rooms are clean and comfortable. That said, the baseboards could use more thorough cleaning, and the sofas are showing noticeable wear and could benefit from an update. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff—they are consistently friendly, courteous, and very helpful. However, during my most recent stay, I did notice an unusual number of flies in the common areas and even had one in my room. I’m not sure if this is a temporary issue affecting the Jewett area or specific to the hotel, but it would be helpful if management could look into it and consider placing fly traps to combat the issue.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and available 24/7, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Breakfast was exactly what you’d expect, but with a nice variety to choose from, ensuring a great start to the day. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
