Bay Pointe

What a great place! The hotel is beautiful and clean! The employees very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was amazing. The restaurant was delicious. The view! Even with the lake frozen it was a wonderful view. I don’t have one negative thing to say about it. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Bay Pointe Hotel. Visiting in the winter made it feel like a little winter wonderland, which added so much charm to the experience. The hotel was clean, cozy, and had a really calm, welcoming atmosphere. What stood out most was the staff. You can genuinely tell they enjoy what they do and truly care about the guests. That kind of energy makes a huge difference. We were traveling with two children, including a toddler, and it felt like a very family-friendly environment, which we really appreciated. The pool was perfect, especially for the kids, and such a nice way to unwind. We also ended up eating at the grill every night, the food was honestly some of the best we’ve had, and it made the whole stay even more enjoyable. We felt comfortable, well taken car

We have two young kids, this time we stayed in a cottage. It was a total game changer. Plenty of space for them to be kids. It helped us have a real family vacation where everyone enjoyed themselves. We love the restaurant. The kids loved the pool, my husband has a fitness area. We used to stay in Grand Rapids when we would come to Western Michigan, but this is our new go to. This is our second time staying here, the first was in the hotel the second was in the cottage. Both times were excellent. Even in the winter, everything is shoveled. The staff is so kind.

We had the most amazing experience having our wedding at Bay Pointe! We had ours at the Woods -- however, the lake views are spectacular too!! We attended a wedding here about a year before we got engaged and immediately fell in love with the venue. Once it was our turn, we knew there was no other place we wanted to celebrate! The wooded setting, private cottages, and modern reception space made the whole day feel so special. The sleek, clean design of the venue made it easy to customize and fit our own wedding style. The food was great, the dessert bar was a crowd favorite, and the bar package options were fantastic. Overall, everything went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out. My new husband and I held our wedding at BayPointe this last weekend. We are older and were looking for a smaller venue and thought BayPointe was likely too big. What a nice surprise when reaching out, they responded immediately! (Same day!). Planning was extremely easy and every detail was covered. Prices were surprisingly reasonable (for a wedding venue) and the staff went out of their way to treat us like royalty. I HIGHLY recommend BayPointe and we will be visiting the restaurant and hotel again in the near future because of our experience!
