Bay Palms RV Resort

I really appreciate the location of Bay Palms RV Resort. It’s peaceful and quiet, making it a great place for families to walk, ride bikes, and enjoy the playground and basketball/pickleball court. The on-site gym was a big plus for me — it offers both cardio and strength training equipment, and I used it frequently during our stay. The pool area is a huge highlight. It is kept clean and well maintained and features built-in jets/sprinklers along the sides, plus smaller ones at the shallow end that younger kids can enjoy. My family and I enjoyed playing in them while in the pool. We’re looking forward to warmer days when our family can visit and enjoy the pool features again and relax on the poolside loungers in the sunshine. This park is showing its age. Security gate stayed open the whole time we were ther for 7 night.s There is NO store to buy supplies. The sewer drain is VERY far from the pad...it took 25 feet of hose to reach it. Nobody leads you to your RV site.

We spent Valentine’s day here. We are on a long road trip, moving every couple of days. I’m so glad we ended up here. The owners had a wonderful Valentine’s day buffet. They decorated and invited the whole park. We really enjoyed this fun loving park. Bathrooms were clean and the sites were well maintained. They are dog friendly.

Lisa and John were great from the booking stage through our entire stay at Bay Palms. They were very friendly and answered all of our questions. They visited with us and other guest in the evenings and made us feel at home there. We look forward to seeing them again on our next trip to Alabama.

Buyer beware!! Probably the most dilapidated “resort” we’ve ever been at! If you have a thing for rundown, broken or worn out this place is for you!! Don’t be fooled by the pictures. People saying it’s good obviously aren’t expecting much so this place gives you exactly that! Broken dryers, gym equipment, pool heater, “clubhouse” windows, bathhouse steps greet you along with sewer backups & flooded sites after it rains!! This is barely a work camp full timer special only with all the amenities listed either broken or not working! The owners don’t appear to want to invest in improvements!! Unfortunately you pay before you find this all out and then it’s too late!!
