Bavarian River Haus

Would rate at zero stars. I booked this property through AirBnb. I was told through the App that service dogs did not need to be disclosed. I booked this for a weekend getaway for my wife and I. After booking the venue, I noticed they had no pets in the listing. I contacted AirBnb as soon as I noticed and told them about my wife’s service dog. AirBnb told me I had nothing to worry about this host will not violate the policies of AirBnb. I said ok and did not try to cancel the policy. Later that evening. This was such an awesome little getaway. Roger is a wonderful host. Helps you get settled and then it’s all privacy. We felt like we were completely alone. The house has everything you need. They made fresh banana bread that was delicious!! Love the property. It’s a short walk down to the river, and you have an amazing hot tub at your disposal. I will say that there is a peacock population on the property and they are so loud. I have no complaints and will definitely visit again.

Lovely cottage right up the hill from the San Marcos river. Beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you need. Totally relaxing and peaceful place. Highly recommended!
