Bates Family Ranch was AMAZING!! We had lots of fun. Everything they had to offer was a blast. The cave was cool and fun. We loved how they took their time and let us enjoy the cave. It was very cool. The slot Canyon my kids loved. And Gandy warm springs was so cool to swim and go in a cave. My kids loved every minute of this trip. The people are very friendly and a joy to be around. My kids even love that their dog would come and play with them. If we could give then a 10 star review we would.

Had a great time. The Bates family was very friendly. The cave tour was amazing and educational. Worth the trip really enjoyed swimming in the warm spring and seeing the wildlife on the property.

Wonderful stay. The two cabins we rented were clean comfortable cozy and heated. We understand AC is coming but for our trip we wouldn’t have used it. Bathrooms are clean and functional but bring your own towel and shower supplies. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Area attractions are great. Our family loved Crystal Ball Cave more than Lehman caves and that’s saying something because Lehman caves were great. Both need to be reserved well in advance. We will be back to explore when the mountains have less snow. This is a hidden gem in the rough.

Can’t say enough positive things about the bates family ranch! 5/5 experience. Firstly, they are very responsive to all questions asked and clearly have a fantastic understanding of lots in the local area. The property is easy to locate and clearly take care of. The cabins are plenty of room (one queen and 3 twins in ours @ coyote den) and then clean and well taken rest rooms with high pressure water in the shower (very happy!) To tie it all off, the daughter took us on a wonderful history lesson tour of their caves. It was perfectly timed not too much not too little and it was so informative. Loved every minute. It seems far out of the way from the SLC valley but it is so worth the trip out there. An absolute must to disconnect.
