My family was there over Labor Day weekend and we had a rough experience. The room was advertised as sleeping 4 but really only slept 2. It was the most expensive room we’ve ever booked —and we travel a ton—which was understandable for a holiday weekend but not if it didn’t meet basic requirements. Moreover, when we tried to talk to the hotel about it afterwards, we could even get a response. If management would respond now, that would be appreciated. We are not unreasonable—we just want to be treated fairly.

The bartender is amazing. He is professional and creative, inviting and cordial. However, little did we know that was the best this restaurant had to offer. The food was ok, but overly salted. There were some items on the menu that were creative, but nothing to make us anxious to return. We were served our entrées before our salad, and the sides were served 5 minutes after that. The pesto dressing on the salad was a terrible pairing. Oddly, the waiter didn't open our bottle of wine at the table. He brought the bottle to us to show the label, and then ran away with it. Only to return 5 minutes later with it open and no cork. If you've been to a restaurant that charges 10x the price of the wine, you'll understand why that is weird. What gives this review 1 star is what happened next: after d

We had dinner here. Beautiful place and location. 2 out of 3 drinks arrived a half hour after ordering and it was not busy. The 3rd finally came 10 minutes later. Our 3 out of 4 dinners arrived 40 minutes later. One order was duck and it was so small a child would have been hungry after finishing it. Three of us were finished with our meals when the fourth meal arrived. The halibut meals were expensive and very neutral in flavor. The short ribs were delicious. We will not be going back to this place.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in May to explore the Hamptons. The hotel is 20 minutes from East Hampton and Main Beach. It's about 30 minutes to Montauk. Barons Cove is incredibly charming! The lobby and bar/living room area are gorgeous with high gloss black woodwork and a fireplace. The upstairs restaurant has a view of the harbor and is also gorgeous. It's traditional but very chic. The service was welcoming and friendly especially Christine at the front desk. We loved our room which was big with a comfy bed and a TV. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We had several meals there and all were perfect. We also ate at the American Hotel which was awesome. Nick and Toni's was great too. The town of Sag Harbor is absolutely perfect! It's so cute and the shops are not touri

Easter Sunday our family of 6 went to Barons Cove for breakfast- albeit we should know better than to go out on a holiday the Easter bunny appearance and the egg hunt to follow made the choice easy. We were seated on the outdoor porch assured that it would not be cold - it was! We ordered 4 meals that required butter and syrup , we were given one pat of butter for the table as well as a salad dressing size portion of maple syrup - we waited well into our meal for more butter and syrup which did not even melt because our food was cold by then. To say the least I will never go there again / the location and ambiance is beautiful but there are plenty of other places to choose and I choose to spend my money elsewhere.Absolutely disappointed to say the least, and furthermore the “bunny” mu
