Barlington Hotel

They charge you like a five-star hotel, but the place is terrible: horrible customer service, no wifi, no working microwaves, water outages without letting you know before shutting the water off, and people smoking weed inside the hotel. All in all, a high price for a very cheap and horrible place. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this cheap hotel. I do not recommend it. Big mistake on my part for renting a room in this hotel.

I am a native and now reside elsewhere, this hotel is older than me, on that note, if you are a person who needs luxury, move on. If you are a person that appreciates history and like to be close to the baseball stadium, little havana and use public transit, this is for you. I stayed for the week, it was very affordable and I am one for rarely hanging out in my hotel. I come to Miami to enjoy the activities so I just need a place to sleep and lay my suitcase and of course, shower. They have free wifi in the lobby and the rooms were cozy. I can't complain. I also took some amazing photos with my new camera, of the property. That being said, you come to relax enjoy old Miami. it is more of a historical hotel. I love this place.

Just be aware that this hotel will not return your money even if they do not provide the service. Recently I made a reservation for 3 nights and I told them that I was going to be checking in late. When I got there around 7 PM, there was nobody in reception, even when they have a sign saying that "the office is open until 10 PM". I waited around for 45 minutes, even called their phone, but there was nobody to help. According to a couple of their guests there, nobody had been in the office that Sunday. ||Next day I went to talk to them and their answer was "you had to pickup the key early" (I wish I knew how to do that from the Dominican Republic!), and also I was informed that their policy was "not to return my money".||So, just be warned that even if they don't provide you with the servic
