Bangor Grande Hotel & Conference Center

They have this amazing deal, if you spend $100 in the restaurant they offer hotel rooms for $40 on the same night. We took advantage of this special and had a great time. Rooms were very clean, a little outdated but we didn't mind at all. We also got a voucher for 10% off breakfast. They have a great indoor pool, next time we will bring our suits to enjoy this perk. Overall, highly recommend!

Rooms were nice, like the layout of them. Has ac and heater to set to your liking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was OK. However we didn’t swim in it. It was 9 feet deep on deepest side. We went for a concert, knowing they were one of the places that offered a ride to the concert however, there was only limited spots, so we didnt use that service. Bar/ restaurant that’s attached was a good size and offers some live entertainment on dates listed there.

I was greeted with a warm smile by Sydney when we arrived at 8-30 pm. She was patient as I searched for my information and helpful as we discussed room options. She was STILL there at 9am the next morning, still smiling with a pleasant demeanor, and explained she'd had 5 hours sleep! I had no US cash, or would have left a tip for her. We enjoyed our over-night stay.

Positive: Kids liked the pool. Negative: Noisy. Sketchy people hanging out in the lobby at all hours. One girl looked high and was there the night we checked in and still there that morning when we got up.

We rented 3 rooms for a family Christmas. We called and made reservations and called the week before to make sure everything was good. We asked about the pool as that's what the kids wanted. We checked in the room was ok outdated but ok for the price. The pool was awful. Super cold and dirty. The pool room needed cleaning as well. We asked at the front desk as did several other people who tried using the pool. Was told a few different things, from not sure what's wrong with it to the owner turned off the heater. That should of been disclosed at check-in. The restraunt attacked is not good. Breakfast sausage links are cut in half and grilled. Super disappointed. The outside trash can was overfull on fri when we checked in and come Sunday there was so much piled on the ground it was gross.
