Bailey Island Motel

Super clean and comfortable! The property is well maintained and everything from the colorful Adirondack chairs outside each room to the refreshed room interior was a delight. The A/C was effective and very welcome in the July heat--as was the lovely outdoor pool. The outdoor deck and seating was a welcome addition as well! The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed in the area before and the Bailey Island Motel is far and above the best option in the area. We'll be back!

We wanted to stay at Bailey Island Motel basically because we wanted to use the pool for our 2 yo. We booked the same day in the morning, arrived in the afternoon, and were told upon arrival that the pool was closed. We kindly ask the manager for a refund and she said she couldn’t do anything. We were transferred to the owner by phone and said she was sorry but would not do any refund since she had made some expenses for cleaning (we made the reservation 4h before we arrived). I offered her to pay for cleaning or consider a 50% refund. She refuses. This is total misrepresentation.

Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located! The updated, spacious rooms are just right for a quick getaway to this beautiful section of Maine. The well-maintained property also has a deck in the back, where there are several tables with umbrellas available for use, along with some gas grills. We also appreciated the pool, which was cool and clean — very refreshing on a hot summer day! The staff was very friendly and responsive. Close proximity to great restaurants, sights, and recreational spots. If you’re looking to stay in the Bailey Island area, the Bailey Island Motel in your best bet!

Our room, the parking lot, the pool, the deck were all very clean. The location is close to everything we wanted like the Giant Stairs, Cedar Beach, Land’s End, the wharf, the Salt Cod Cafe, the Dolphin and even going to Brunswick to golf was a nice ride. The motel employees and other guests were very friendly as are the townspeople. Bailey Island is a favorite spot for us so we will be back! Thank you for providing us a nice place to stay.

Reasonably priced, pleasant, and immaculate room. It was wonderful to not have a noisy air conditioner, and instead have windows on each side of the room (and a fan) so I could enjoy the refreshing breeze from the ocean. I ended up in one of the property's 2 handicap rooms, and was very impressed by the thought that was put into details that would make this very spacious room comfortable for anyone in a wheelchair. Very friendly proprietors. Not fancy, but I will certainly return...
