Babbling Brook Cottages

I stayed a weekend at The Stargazer with my best friend for a quick girls getaway trip, and I am so glad we stayed here! We came the weekend before Christmas and the details in our cottage were incredible. It was like Christmas exploded inside in the best way - it was warm (the bed is heated! Yes you read that right!) and cozy. It was extremely clean and the owners are lovely and welcoming. We had our own fire pit with wood and an outside grill. There was also a community gas fire pit with comfy chairs and blankets we enjoyed our hot chocolate (in our lovely Christmas mugs) around. I would definitely recommend Babbling Brook for a stay away in nature!

Every aspect of our stay at Babbling Brook Cottages was simply amazing. To find such a peacful, manicured and confortable place to stay that not only accepted us and our two German Shepherds but equally geared aspects of the stay towards accomodating/entertaining both human and canine alike was the find of the century for us. The website, property description/photos, stay planner and pawsome guide, ease of booking and host responsivness are just some of the many aspects that made our decision to book and overall stay here so memorable. Lamar and Terri really have thought of everything when it comes to the perfect private and cozy Poconos experience for pups and Pawrents alike. We are definintly looking forward to returning to Babbling Brook Cottages in the future!

This is the perfect place to meet up with friends because you can each have your own charming little cabin. For this visit my husband and I stayed in Snugglers Notch, while my best friend had Stargazer to herself. ||As was the case when we visited last year during the Christmas season (highly recommended), the level of service was outstanding. Each cabin is tiny but well equipped and decorated for the season with incredible attention to detail. We enjoyed a fire in our firepit (which the owner thoughtfully prepared and then covered when it started to rain so it wouldn’t be wet when we lit it later). ||We discovered some new restaurants this time (recommended by our host) and had several delightful meals. ||The weather could have been better, but it really didn’t matter because we could hun

THE BEST, you'll feel like you're in a Hallmark movie!!! The biggest high five to our 2nd stay at Babbling Brook Cottages. This time we stayed in "Fireside", last time was "Bear Claw". Absolutely, a fabulous time. We like to do a little bit of everything. Relax a bit, visit breweries near & far (Milford, Shawnee & Stroudsburg), antique shopping, meals at many different local restaurants as well as utilize the weber grill. Last year, we saw the gorgeous waterfalls at Childs State Park. We love the mountain views with the covering of snow. Winter time gives that comfy, quiet, cozy feeling there. Lamar & Terri the owners, are the sweetest. Stella, their dog too. Everything you would need, is already there. And if you do need something, they don't delay. We decided to stay an extra night (4) &

The Babbling Brook Cottages is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I stayed at the Toasted Marshmallow and it was the perfect size. It was so cozy and comfortable. The property is kept so nice and has great photo areas and places to hang and enjoy the outside. Terri and Lamar are super sweet and respond immediately if you need anything!! We will definitely be going back and looks forward to a different cottage!! 100% recommend!
