Azalea Lodge

The staff was friendly. The queen room was small, had two nightstands, a fridge with large freezer compartment, microwave, table with two chairs and a nice wooden ceiling. There was no desk. The headboard had a protrusion in it that made it uncomfortable to sit up in bed—it hit you right in the back of the head. The room was clean and quiet. They had a shower but no tub. The parking spots were very wide which was nice. |The window faced west and the evening sun was so bright we had to close the curtains which made the room very dark. Obviously, the motel has no control over the sun. They do have some rooms in the back which probably wouldn’t have been affected the same way.

Positive: It is a basic motel room. It is not fancy, but it is comfortable and very clean. The owner and staff are very helpful. If you are looking for inexpensive lodging that is clean and comfortable, I recommend the Azalea Lodge! Negative: ""

Great classic motor lodge. Very friendly proprietress. Quiet and nearly empty, at least during my stay. Immaculate and charming spacious wood ceiling room. You definitely get a sense they keep an eye on things and there are no sketchy people welcome here. Yes it is dated but everything is well kept, just as you would expect from a family run motel. A real step back in time!

Very cozy and extremely clean happy to see there was a decent size fridge with freezer ,microwave ,Keurig, and a blow dryer for your hair . The bed is comfortable . Anybody that has anything bad to say about this place obviously isn’t happy with anything never been here before and we will definitely come back and stay here . The ladies in the office were super nice

A great value in Gold Beach. The rooms are simple, nothing fancy but like the sign says they are super clean. Service was friendly, no hassle. You actually fill out an old school form and get a real key with the room number tag on it. Overall a great place to stay at a great price while you're exploring this beautiful area.
