avid hotel Denver Airport Area by IHG

Honestly not great, weird vibe and the color scheme of my room was jarring, grey and red are just not comfy? Tiny room, no bathtub, and they charge $12/night for parking- never been to a hotel that does this. Poor soundproofing, I could hear people in the hall all night. The shuttle is timely which I appreciated, but overall was disappointed and ended up spending double what I was expecting to due to lack of transparency on the hotel’s part.

I've been slowly moving away from both Hilton and Marriott to IHG as I feel the service and quality of the hotels are better and this Avid hotel is a great example of that.||Appreciate the 24 hour shuttle, which I used late at night. Room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is relatively new and a good location fairly close to the Denver airport. Beds were also comfortable and not too soft, which is typically a dealbreaker.||Kudos to the front desk staff and the shuttle driver as I got in very late and had to schedule an early morning shuttle back to the airport to pick up a rental car. My shuttle had actually left and they came back as I was running a couple of minutes late. ||Other than the slim pre-packaged breakfast, I have no other complaints and would gladly stay at another

Positive: Room and staff. I was early and they still let me check in and were super nice Negative: The water pressure in my room was so weak it took forever to shower

Was put here overnight because of an airline operational meltdown. Very very clean functional rooms although they are rather small and they do not have microwave ovens in them. Not a bad place at all, convenience store in several restaurants within half a mile walking distance.....but the rooms were rather like a really small Days Inn or Microtel room. functional but lower tier chains like Baymont and Comfort Inn tend to have substantially larger rooms. Still, though, for DIA - the location was good because it is one of the closest hotels to the airport

Great hotel. Fresh. Clean. Modern. Hard floors in all rooms were clean and modern. No disgusting old crusty carpets here. Good basic breakfast. Nice lobby. Shuttle bus to airport runs frequently and reliably.
