Staying at Aurora’s House of Light & Joy in Lily Dale, NY was truly a blessing. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the intention, peace, and loving energy that fills the space. It is more than just a guest house — it's like home away from home. The home is immaculate and beautifully cared for, creating an atmosphere that supports rest, reflection, and spiritual connection. Its location is ideal — close to all that Lily Dale offers, yet quiet enough to feel tucked into a peaceful corner. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered: reliable internet, air conditioning in every room, a refrigerator in each room, and access to a full kitchen. We stayed in the White Lotus room of Aurora's House of Light and Joy (Aurora Guest house) while in Lilydale for three days. We chose the White Lotus because we traveled with our family dog. Our pre-teen slept comfortably on the living room lounge sofa and the King size bed was amazing. We loved having a private space to ourselves, including kitchen and bathroom. It's on the ground level so there are no stairs. Joyce was easy to deal with, quick to respond and perfectly accommodating to all our needs. I would highly recommend this house for your next visit to the Dale.

I have had very nice stays at Aurora. Everything is always very clean. I don’t mind sharing a bathroom because they are always kept clean. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen area is also nice. You can cook of course you need to clean up after yourself. One the other most important things to me is the refrigerator in each room. They are taller one than a mini refrigerator. The owner goes out of her way to accommodate your needs.

I have stayed or been inside pretty much every guest house in Lily Dale at one point or another over the years and this place is by far my favorite place to stay and definitely my place of choice! The facilities are great, it’s always clean and the owner Joyce is a sweet person who does her very best to make every stay a great experience. I highly recommend this guest house to anyone wanting to spend some time relaxing in the wonderful place that Lily Dale is. This place is a great place to stay in every season! My go to.

When we arrived, Joyce had forgotten about our reservation. Our room was not ready, so we had to wait while she got it ready. Due to that, I didn’t have time to pay her because I was running late. I told her I would pay her the next day. While I was away, she yelled at my friend about payment, even though I was the one who was paying. When we arrived, she seemed inconvenienced when I asked if there was a place I could park near the house to unload the car instead of down the street and then I would move it. We ended up feeling like we were walking on eggshells while we were there to avoid another blowup. I would not stay there again.
