AT&T Hotel and Conference Center

We had an amazing time at the AT&T conference center in Austin for the Society of Women Engineers WElocal Austin conference. The hotel was LUXURIOUS, one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. However, the people we were traveling with ended up with a nicer room than us even though we both paid the same price. But still, our bed was a dream-come-true and the amenities were amazing!!! The food tasted delicious as well. We were also able to conveniently walk to many destinations within 5 minutes of our hotel, and the capital was just across the street!

AT&T is our go to when we come into Austin for a game, ACL, or other concerts. Rooms are always excellent, housekeeping staff is friendly and accomodating. Several dining options from grab and go- to social fun to watch a game, or treating yourself to a more formal dinner. The valet staff is friendly and efficient. Coleman is knowledgeable about surrounding events, restaurants and traffic issues, guiding us in the right direction every time.

It had been several years since we stayed at the ATT Conference Center hotel. We had tickets from a friend for the Arkansas game so we decided at the last minute to stay close by. Great decision!||We were not only easy walking distance from DKR - Memorial stadium, but also just a short walk from the Blanton Art Museum, the Harry Ransom Center, as well as a Target store in the basement of Dobie 21 near by (for snacks and drinks).||One perk at the hotel is each room has a small fridge. One can also request a microwave! Great for families.||We had a Tower facing room which was great for people watching and seeing a light show on some trees just past Littlefield fountain. Positive: Very clean and very nice. Liked that I could use the room card when exiting the parking. Negative: Unexpected $75 deposit from which they took $20 (reason never provided). I assume the $20 was for parking or the purportedly free bottle of water (listed in amenities but with a $5 tag) or I used the coffee machine. Again, don't know.

I would like to call on the valets. Not only did they make haste with the busy night they were having, I was particularly impressed with the works of one gentlemen. I can’t quite remember his names, but I think it was cole-something. That young man helped me in more ways than one. Awesome service!
