Atco Motel

Absolutely awful experience at Atco Motel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was poorly maintained and far from what anyone would consider clean or comfortable. The room was filthy — dust everywhere, stains on the furniture, and worst of all, there were bugs crawling through the walls. It was honestly disgusting and felt completely unsanitary. The beds were in terrible condition. The sheets and blankets looked like they hadn't been washed in ages. We were so grossed out that my dad had to clean the bed himself before we could even think about lying down. That alone should tell you the state of this place. To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn’t work at all. It was hot and uncomfortable the entire time, and despite trying to adjust it or get it working, nothing

Like many of the motels along the White Horse Pike in this area, it is a relic of pre 1950s motels. Well known in Atco for being a center for transients and people with housing insecurities, no one recommends staying here for travelers who need a place for the night. I visited a room here once to pick up a friend and disgusting understated the condition I found the inside of the room. I can only hope in the years between then and now this motel has been renovated.

I stayed for five months it was very clean no bugs never had a problem the owner and his wife are very nice Sam the maintenance guy and his girlfriend are very nice I stayed in room 17 it was great my neighbors where nice to everyone there was nice no one bothered you I have done my share of motels and this was the best one every one stayed to there self. Thank you for the great stay.

The worst place to stay for human beings. The fridge was nasty. The dresser had no drawers.. The bathroom was not cleaned. Haor and dirt every where. I had to clean it myself with the limited supplies the man had. My shower wasn't draining, so he gave me plastic gloves and a nasty plunger, which did not work. The heater is a plug in space heater. Roaches. The bed is as hard as the floor. I didn't have money to go somewhere else for the night, but never again. A shelter wpuld be better than this place. The smell is aweful.

Clean, as I remember the management were good people . It's not a new place to overnight but they provide modest accommodations such as cable tv. Probably 12 units (2-8-2),one story concrete/brick ,and well lit . As I remembered "low income and state provided for" people occupying the majority of units. Country field, but on route 30 and not far from town.
