Aspen Ridge Resort

Thank you Karen and Brooke for making us feel welcome and relaxed, what a setting. We both needed to be disconnected from our life at home and Aspen Ridge fit the bill. Your kindness and attention was most welcome, thank you again.

This is the best ranch resort and restaurant to reunite with friends and family. Karen and Steve are the most welcoming hosts and serve outstanding meals. The rooms and cabins are fresh and clean with high-end appointments. The night sky is dark so the stars seem close and you can sit out on the deck, with a drink from the bar, and watch the satellites go over. Take a ride on a gentle horse and help work the cattle. Enjoy other activities or just relax watching the cattle and deer. Just visiting for lunch or dinner is well worth the drive.

Steve and Karen are wonderful people with warming hospitality. With a real western tranquility. Absolutely the most peaceful resort ever. The cabins are very nice, and at night, you hear the cows calling their calves and the owls hooting in the trees and the coyotes howling in the morning, making you feel like you're camping on the cattle drive. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and to get some peace and quiet to unwind. This is the only place it will truly happen. I highly recommend this place.

We LOVED our time here. This is truly a quiet, off-the-grid experience. The cabins were comfortable, spacious, and I was not expecting the meticulous care taken daily (more akin to being in a hotel than a cabin). Food was amazing and we also brought food for the days we wanted to cook in our cabins. We enjoyed board games in the lodge, an outing to a fishing lake, horseback riding, and cards on our own porch overlooking the meadow.

What an amazing family getaway! We traveled to Aspen RR with our daughter, son in law, and their 2 kids (our grand kids). It is THE most gorgeous place... quiet.. surrounded by nature.. day trips in the car.. and the best steak cooked to perfection in their restaurant. Hosts (and real-time cattle ranch operators Karen & Steve Simmons are incredible people, and have been living their dream for half a century. The Lodge has rooms right there, a bar, a gathering space, wrap-around wide decks that look over their acreage and cattle. Our cabin had everything: a fully functioning kitchen, ample dining area with view, great living space, wondrous sleeping rooms and great wrap around deck and unobstructed view. We hiked and swam and rode horses and fished and identified plants. We will go back in
