Artilla Cove Resort

We booked on AirBnb. No one was there in the office to let us in, they did not give us a code either. I called when we arrived at 7pm ( earliest we could was 4:15)and it took loke 6 calls for someone to answer and tell us which cabin we were even in and the code. Then the hot water in our cabin wasn’t working that night (very obvious they do not check rooms before someone’s arrival). We eventually got moved the next morning. The “resort” was a glorified trailer park. I only say this due to the piles of junk around the campus (pictured) . Right next to our cabin, a car was on cinder blocks in front of other cabins. Also, the Wi-Fi only worked once in a 3 day stay. Overall very disappointed in our accommodations for Valentine’s Day. Branson in itself is fun, but this was not worth the mone

I’m extremely disappointed with our recent stay at Artilla Cove in Indian Point, MO, and we will not be returning.||A Sad Decline:|My wife has been coming to Artilla Cove since she was a child, and I’ve been joining her for nearly 15 years since we got married. It’s heartbreaking to watch this property deteriorate over the years. What was once a cherished family destination has become increasingly run down and mismanaged. Location is amazing with lake view! The room comfort was horrible. Including broken furniture recliner super small and a broke down futon, box springs on the bed. Which the mattress was very very worn. Kitchen faucet leaked horribly flooded the counter every time faucet was used..And when brought to owners attention they did nothing about it. Just asked of we needed more towels to clean the mess up.. we were basically in the basement with only 2 windows. Under a kids bedroom and very rowdy. We could hear everything upstairs including the barking dogs. We spent most of our time outside which was set up very nicely! Pool , hot tub and fire pit was spectacular. Inside the room not so much. Lots of flies.. they did provide fly swatters.

Nice cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. Nice and clean with plenty of supplies. It was located farther than we liked from the attractions we went to Branson to see . We enjoyed the time we were there anyway.l

Loved the peaceful location. Owner is very accessible and helpful. Homey cabin with full kitchen, nice bed and bedding, nice thick towels. Only disappointment was the hot tub wasn't working but won't keep us from going back. Very affordable place to stay.
