Arthur's Country Inn

Staff are friendly, very accommodating and very easy to work with. Rooms are nice and clean. Accessible to all of Arthur's businesses.

I’m in town for work. My initial plan was to go to a quality inn or best Western over in Arcola, but I decided to check this place out and wow am I impressed. My room was spotless clean. All handmade wood furniture, nice wood trim. It’s simple accommodation but it’s all I need, and very affordable for the night. Beds are definitely more comfortable than a typical hotel. What I’m noticing about this area is no matter the business, people provide an honest and good value service the way it’s supposed to be, and they are happy to do it. That’s rare to find these days and I appreciate it so much.

No ice was available. Sheets kept coming off bed when sleeping. The TV is hard to figure out and no one knew how to get local channels. The air conditioner filter was soo thick with dust which made me sneeze all the time

Yoders Buffet was excellent! The downtown business were very pleasant & if you couldn’t find what your looking for they were very helpful to steer you to the business that would have it! The home made fudge was delicious & they had a large variety of favorites! The prices were very reasonable! The shop that sold cheese was fresh & also was delicious with a large variety to pick from ! Then of course the Amish shops were wonderful & they were very friendly! The Amish sold hand built sheds, garages oak chairs etc! If you need a custom fit boat cover they have the place for that! A lot of the Amish sold fresh baked pie & bread! There is so many things to do in Arthur you can’t cover everything in just one or two days! The buggy’s & wagons are exceptionally great to watch! The town of Arthur

Our room was very clean and had extra towels and and blankets. It had a microwave, fridge and a coffee maker that was clean. The reason I gave a 4 star and not a 5 star was it didn't have a hair dryer, no biggie , as a Dollar General was nearby, and I got one there. The second thing was it had 2 straight back chairs, and I get up in the middle of the night, because I can't sleep, and a soft chair would have been nice. I definitely would stay here again.
