Arroyo Campground

We stayed 3 nights; Sunday - Wednesday. First night, the people at spot #13 were very loud: playing loud music well after 10 pm and talking/loudly laughing up until after midnight. Extremely rude considering everyone else was courteous of the quiet hours. The park rangers stopped and talked to them on Monday, they were quiet that night and left on Tuesday (thankfully). We didn't see any patrol on Sunday but there was a patrol that came through the next two nights. Most of the spots have plenty of shade. We were at 53 and it had a couple great shade trees plus plenty of space. Spot 54 is a little close but the person camping there was only in their car so it never felt like we were on top of each other. Not sure how comfortable it would have been with another family there. This is truly a top notch campground. The little creek added so much fun! Kids can build little enclosures for tadpoles for a whole day!😅 There are ample men and women's restrooms, which are always kept clean. And the free hot water showers! Will definitely come back again!

My 1st time camping here. Flush toilets, showers. Bathrooms were clean. Campground was beautiful! Rangers patrolled on a regular basis mainly keeping eyes on peoples fires. We were lucky to be able to have camp fires, which was appreciated because it was in the low 40’s at night. Wonderful little general store less than a mile from where we were. No water in the creek bed. I’ll definitely return with my grandkids!!

I had a great first experience here. Lots of trails nearby for all types of adventurers, the facilities were very clean, camping spots were large and well kept; was an overall great experience. So cool to have this place right outside of Irvine. Will definitely be back.

Super clean and well organized campground with clean bathrooms that has running water and shower Grounds are very well taken care of A little close to the public road so some sites can hear cars driving by but at least not a ton of traffic. Plenty of space per campsite and ground is flat for easy sleeping
