So cute and cozy. The manager was so warm and welcoming, she accommodated me over the phone when I had to book last minute due to my original hotel losing power. The lobby/continental breakfast is pretty hostel style, which I think adds to the welcoming vibe. There’s DVD’s and games that you can take to your room! I stayed in “La Petite,” it was the perfect size for 1 person, maybe 2 if you really like each other lol. Heater worked great and shower water got amazingly hot. Will stay here again in the future!
We were very disappointed that our room was up a flight of stairs. My husband and I can’t carry luggage up a flight of stairs. Thankfully we were given a different room. The room was very clean and neat but small. No place to put luggage. The light above the bed did not work. We only had two portable heaters. One of them worked only some of the time. Our room was cold. Parking was at an incline making it difficult to get to and from our car. There was a lovely lounge with nice furnishings including snacks but it was quite cold. No heating available. Because of our limited mobility we only stayed 2 of the four nights we paid for. We made arrangements at another hotel. Some information on line is not accurate. It is not ADA compatible. You can’t walk to Staters in 200 feet as stated. Our st
So much to like about this place, starting with manager Jennifer. She made us very comfortable and appreciated. She was very generous with her time in explaining the area and its history, and she was very attentive in every detail. Also, the complimentary breakfast was billed as "continental", but was the most complete "continental" I've ever seen. Lots of bread, fruit, beverage and cereal types, and more. There was also after-breakfast items available, all at no extra charge. The lobby was warm and cozy, and was someplace to linger. We parked right next to our room, and the hotel was walking distance from the best Lake Arrowhead had to offer. Our room (Blue Boy Room) was quiet and private, though we could see the lake from our balcony. Everything in the room worked just fine, and I would
We just had the most special stay. From the grounds, the lobby, the decks and the views this place looks amazing and cozy. I stayed here a few years ago but it has gone through some changes and it feels like a new place. Also, I cannot express in enough words how wonderful Gayle was and how welcome she made us feel. Within hours we felt we were talking to a friend or family instead of the hotel manager . She went far and beyond to make our experience great. Also, the breakfast bar was very nice. Lots of drink options, locally baked pastries and other snacks. Thank you Gayle. Definitely staying here again.
This is a beautiful location. You have a gorgeous view of the lake from the balcony area in front of the main entrance. I have stayed here many times and have always had a good experience. Big shout out to Jennifer, I recently had an issue with a payment and she resolved the issue and was very helpful. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
