Aroostook Hospitality Inn - Van Buren

So great to get back home for a visit. Aroostook Hospitality Inn is a great place to stay, very clean and friendly, super nice staff. Foliage in the County was so beautiful and harvest was just starting. Will get back up there in the near future!

The owner/staff is super nice. I booked this place during a road trip and thought it was in Canada. Actually, it is in Maine. My road trip was supposed to be within Canada so that I didn’t have my passport with me, that means I couldn’t cross the border to be there. I called this motel and got the refund on the same day. Many thanks!

I don't normally give bad reviews but I'm pretty furious. We booked a single night for $80 something. 2 adults. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are amazing honestly. The issue was the people in the building and lack of staff. We arrived at 7pm, there's someone blaring music and smoking cigarettes right by the building, there's a sign that says no smoking within a certain distance. Anyway, we blow it off and go in. For about an hour, someone in the upstairs room is gliding back and forth across the room on a chair. Everything is good until 9:30pm-ish. A door is slammed and then a vehicle with an extremely loud muffler turned on and revved several times before taking off. They came back a half hour later and slam the door. An hour later, the door slams and they leave again. The

Stayed there in room 1 September 14th & 15th the room wasn’t cleaned. There was urine on the bathroom floor. The air conditioner was gross. We got bit up by bedbugs was the worst. I contacted management who strung me along for two weeks. He said the exterminator was coming then they had to reschedule. Finally he stopped responding back to me. Customer satisfaction is not important to them, I wouldn’t stay there again. I will drive out of my way to go somewhere else. Would not recommend to anyone!

Ok so if you like quiet this is the place. The room was fair , had a bit of a musty odor , the bed was ok, the floors were updated, it was Over anll clean , i love that it’s pet friendly and the shower had power. Not one employee was seen during the stay including check in. We were short towels (I texted them and heard nothing) and we ran out of toilet paper no extras were left mind you we only stayed two nights. There’s no actual hospitality. No mini coffee pot which would make it better. Thankfully we had WiFi. The microwave and fridge were good, tv works, there was a little sitting area outside and other guests We’re friendly and quiet. You’re not worried about violence up here. But If your’e looking for a town to enjoy unfortunately this is not it. Nice sit down dinner takes 40 min
