Arnold's Winsome Inn & Suites

I had been driving through a snowstorm on my way from Denver to northwest Iowa and really needed to find a place quick, as it was getting late and the snowstorm added hours to my drive back home. The owner was more than accommodating to get me set up with a room quickly and efficiently. Exceeds my expectations, great spot and inexpensive for the quality of service and room!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with the cleanliness. I found an old bag of coffee with signs of mold in the room, and there was also a strange, unpleasant smell that made the space feel unclean. These issues made me question the overall hygiene and maintenance standards. The rest of the service was fine, but this really affected my confidence in the hotel’s cleanliness. I hope management reviews their cleaning procedures to provide a better experience for future guests.

Super quiet little town, the inn was easy to book and check in. There wasn't a single other person there the night we stayed.

If you're coming here after hours to try and check in, be warned, you'll have to call the number at the front desk to check in and get a room. I was likely more confused than I should have been given my sleep addled state when I showed up. The check-In process was relatively easy and quick. The room was clean and if I'm entirely honest, the bedding was some of the softest I've ever slept on in a hotel room! All in all this was a great find while wandering the back roads.

This review is tricky to write, the hotel is clean and great location for the small town. I was traveling across the country, Google redirected me due to a road closure. High winds, high snow drifts, it put me on a dirt road, I hit a drift and got stuck (W/Haul on back) the fire department and local volunteers amazing!! The fire department told me all roads to my destination closed, told me of a hotel, I called, she called back, she wasn't at the hotel. The fire department guided me through the weather and to the hotel. Soup, crackers and water were available to us in the hotel, the town was shut down. Everything was done over the phone. The next day, I saw her, and I have my dog, when I say the lady was rude and disrespectful, it's an understatement. She told me I should've told her
