Well spaced campsites with easy access to Degray Lake. Bathrooms were a little dated but kept clean. We were at site #10 which felt like we were on our own island but it wasn’t very shaded. Too hot in the afternoon for our tent. Site #12 would have been better. $20 a night on recreation.gov. All other sites near ours (#8-13) had the same water and electric hookup (50-30-15). We were attacked by 🐜 ants on night 2 so we decided not to extend.

Pretty decent reception even inside the camper for a campsite. Spot 14 is very angled so it would be good to back your rear tires over 4 or 5 lynx levelers on each back tire before you let your front end down to level it. I had to fully stow my hitch and then let it down in order to get my camper within level, even then it wasn't perfectly level like it prefer it, it was slightly out of level. Electric and water hook-ups at most sites, dump station available. Beware of fire ants near your fire pits or chairs. Easy access to Degray Lake, bring your kayak, bikes or walking shoes. There are also some little antique shops and flea markets. Hot Springs is about 30 miles away and Lake Hamilton is about 20 miles away.

This is almost an excellent campground. There are pretty great sites in the woods as swell as sites on the very lovely lake, and the trail I done here was purdy darn good, too. Some of the sites have QR markers that allow you to reserve a spot much more easily than app or mobile website typically allow. The only problem is they seem to have plopped the power station right in the middle of the best two sections of campground, and that power station is humming all hours, even into the night, as the RV power hogs juice their glamp to max. Really disturbs the tranquility. I poked into a dozen different sites and simply couldn’t escape the noise. I finally just had to accept it, come to terms and be at peace with it, one with The Great Ohm. Seemed to mesh well in the key of D minor. Every few h

Large enough and empty enough to find secluded camping spots. Restrooms have showers. Actual sites dont offer amazing water views but you can walk a minute from site to the lakes edge. Had pay over the phone. Campsite had tons of built in table space and nice grill and firepit.

Nice park and very inexpensive. We have 50amp hookup. No water hookup at site, but there are several places in the park to fill your tank. The dump station is at the front check in point and it has a fresh water faucet there. It’s very convenient to just fill up on your way in. Since the dump station is at the gate and it’s a very steep hill from our campsite to it, we chose not to use our portable tank to dump at this park. We conserve tank space by using the bathrooms (in the daytime) and showers available in the park. These bathrooms were clean enough although everything is very old and some fixtures are rusted. The bathroom in our area was always stocked which was nice as it was 4th of July weekend and the park was completely full. The showers were okay. The water was nicely hot and th
