Aqua Log Cabins Resort

Nice log cabins, great location for skiing or sauna-ing at Mt Bohemia, but pricey for 2 people, especially given there are no sheets, blankets or towels. Not even a coffee cup! The cabins may be economical if you’re part of a group but for a couple it’s another story. Not sure I will stay again.

Our cabin was dirty we we made a reservation three months ago under the assumption that there was a large bar restaurant well here that has been closed for six years we get to our cabin. Our cabin was a mess and disgusting. Do not recommend do not.

We stayed in cabin #23 from August 19-22 and our stay was wonderful! The cabin was super clean when we arrived, the view of the lake was gorgeous and the setting was peaceful and quiet. It seemed like the cabins were all full, but we didn't really hear our neighbors much. We ate breakfast from the crepery one morning and had the wood fired pizza, both were really good! Value was excellent for the accommodation. We had four people, but could have comfortable included two more. Beds were comfortable, two futons, shower was tall enough for a taller person with great water pressure. Linens not included, but TP, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags were. The cabins are beautiful and in a nice quiet location and that's about where the positives end. This was advertised as being a " resort" with a pool etc. There is absolutely nothing at this location but a few cabins and a large dock with chairs. The lake is swampy and gross all around the dock so you can't swim here. The only water available comes from a bathroom sink that is so plugged with silt the brown egg smelling water shoots in all directions when you use it and doesn't not smell or appear to be potable. There is no front office or cell reception here so the only option to have decent water is to drive quite a ways. Can’t wait to come back already. Love the cabins, love the pool/spa. Driving to site see is so close. 10/10 recommend. Wi-Fi is very iffy (only worked outside our screens in porch) but who cares, we’re in the woods! More food options at Mt Bohemia would be nice. But pizza is good!
