Applegate Lake Hart-Tish Park

Absolutely breathtaking place. Serene, lovely lake. Definitely rent a kayak and explore! Pack a picnic lunch and blanket for an afternoon nap by the shore. And whatever you do don’t forget your camera!

Beautiful lake! Not too far away, nice size tent camping , RV sites have no hook ups and it's like a parking lot in front of the lake with picnic tables and fire pits 4 star because no hook ups and no showers they do have restrooms and a small general store. You can also rent paddle boards.

Hart-Tish Park is small but big with heart. The facilities are minimal so don't expect a resort. They have camping, RV spaces (in the parking area by the store), a boat ramp as well as a day use area. $5 day use per car and $7 to launch a boat. The store does not carry a lot so do not expect a market. You can rent some paddle boards and kayaks. Camping is dry with no electricity or water at the sites, this includes the RV area. There are regular restrooms with water at the camp sites and at the RV area. Check the website for further info, especially in July/August/September for any fire restrictions and/or store closures due to lake level. After the water level passes the boat ramp they typically close but camping/RV's are still available through recreation.gov unless otherwise posted. The

I know it's probably closed now because the water levels are low... But I love this lake/park the guys that work there are always cool and helpful, it's a great place to take the family... Can't wait till next year!

Beautiful, clean, quiet lake. Very nice staff at the store by the boat launch. Wind for an extended time in the afternoon made paddle board somewhat of a challenge. Plan to go paddling early or in evening.
