Appalachian Outpost

This is our new favorite place to stay while riding Hatfield McCoy trails! The cabins are nice and clean with plenty of room. 3 bedrooms with a pull out couch. Close to trail systems. Gas station, bar, restaurant, store, and wash station all on site. Everything you need is there!

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. I can't say enough good things about this place!! Everything you could possibly need on site. If you are looking for a place for you and all your riding buddies this is it!!!, you won't find a better place. These cabins are perfect!!! They were spacious, so clean, fire pit, free firewood, grill and plenty of parking. There is a gas station/convenience store, bar/restaurant coffee/ice cream shop on site. We could fit 8 Jeeps if we wanted and so close to the trails. Huge thank you to Nancy the property manager who answered every question almost immediately at any time and kept us well informed. She had our cabin ready with our permit applications sitting on our table when we walked in. She went above and beyond any expectations I will definitely be revi

Had a great experience. Rented from BAC rental on property Amber and Jess were awesome. Machine ran great no issues. Cabins were clean and comfortable. Neighbors were friendly. Staff were outstanding. Trails were really close. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful, clean, everything at your fingertips resort. Our group of 6 couples that came down from Michigan had an amazing vacation. Nancy answered all of our questions and made sure we were fully informed on all of their amenities. Easy trail access to a variety of trail heads. I can not even put into words how wonderful Nancy was to deal with, her hospitality ~ definitely an A++. They have everything you could possibly need right at the resort. Our stay at the Appalachian Outpost cabin near the Hatfield and McCoy trails was exceptional. The cabin was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the well-stocked kitchen, along with the BBQ and free firewood, made our stay even more enjoyable. With eight of us, there was plenty of space, and the proximity to the Rockhouse trail was a definite bonus. Special thanks to Nancy, the property manager, for maintaining a first-class cabin compound . We can't wait to return next year! Having the BAC rental right there was indeed a fantastic bonus.
