Antrim 1844

Antrim 1844 is truly a world-class wedding venue. From start to finish, the team was incredibly prepared and professional, with every moment and detail planned down to a science. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests—stocking our room with signature drinks and hors d’oeuvres after the ceremony, saving our wedding dinner in case we didn’t get to eat, setting up champagne and our cake for after the after-party, helping with setup, and even running to grab the bride coffee whenever needed. Our banquet manager, Dan, was a standout—personable, inviting, and attentive—guiding us through a perfectly timed and paired tasting and ensuring dinner ran seamlessly the night of. We stayed for two nights; our daughter was married on the second day there. The campus is beautiful. We stayed in the mansion, the bride and bridesmaids were in one of the other buildings which was very convenient for getting ready for the ceremony. The food at breakfast and the reception was wonderful. |Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of our stay was that EVERYONE on staff seemed to enjoy working there. From the check-in staff to the grounds crew, each person with whom we interacted was pleasant and helpful. Wedding coordinator Katie and banquet manager Dan were the best!

Our family had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at Antrim 1844. Everything went perfectly. I was able to drop my parents off by the front door and easily find parking in the back of the building, and there was a coat check inside. The interior is elegant with comfortable seating and we enjoyed the piano while eating tasty vol au vents and crostini. Then we were seated in the Green Room for a wonderful dinner with several options and well-matched wines. All the foods were flavorful and perfectly cooked. I really appreciate the staff's knowledge to help me avoid an allergy issue - they were very knowledgeable and double checked on a few items. This was a memorably special dining experience.

Spent the weekend here for a wedding in the early fall. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The gardening staff must really have their work cut out for them. We stayed in two different rooms and they were both very clean and incredibly decorated to make you feel as though you are living an opulent life in the mid 1800. Both rooms had fireplaces and jetted tubs. No fridge or microwave though.

Come prepared to eat a lot of fantastic high class food. This is a dining experience. Be ready to take your time and enjoy it. And know that you will be well taken care of. Dress up in your finest and enjoy life for a few hours! It's well worth it.
