Anglers Rest Cabins and RV Sites

Stayed here a couple of months. Cptn. John is a great owner and keeps the place clean. For full hookups, it definitely affordable. The full timers there are very friendly and will invite you to any bbq or campfire. There were no random people coming in and out. Location is right next to a Dollar General and just a few miles from Lake Norfolk or several rivers. Wifi is better than expected at an RV park and we had good cell service. The RV sites are BIG enough for slides and enough room to enjoy your campsite. We had enough yard to put up a small dog fence. Definitely a pet friendly park. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone passing through or needing something a little longer for a stay.

We love this place! Captain John is a great host and so much fun to talk to. It is located very close to the Quarry park recreational area, so great location for the lake and the Norfork river. We store a boat in the area and like this so much more than hauling the camper up to go out on the lake. Plenty of parking for our pontoon. (Several patrons have boats.) …And if you want to bring your camper, the Captain has some full hook ups too.

Our stay at Anglers Rest was nothing short of satisfactory! We had the pleasure of having Jerry, campground manager, assist us during our week stay. We just got out first camper and decided to stay at Anglers Rest until we leave for work out of town. Jerry was so helpful with setting up and making the learning curve comfortable. He went out of his way to bring us a charcoal grill in front of our camper so we could cook the very first day. Our heat hasn’t working correctly when we set up and the temps were in the teens. Jerry set up someone to come fix it and then took care of the bill as we weren’t at the campground when the furnace mechanic for there and until we got back, took care of it. He allowed us to get set up and then worry about pay as we were in a time crunch and very very busy.

I stayed at these cabins for my final semester of school, when I had to be separated from my family. Owner John was very accommodating, by allowing me to keep my dog with me. John took care of the only problem I had in a timely fashion, and without question. The cabins are in a great area, and are very affordable for both short term and long term stays. I would stay here again and would recommend these cabins to friends.

A true restful place for any adventurer!! The cabins are located in the middle of everything ( lake Norfork, north fork river, white river ) yet secluded and the stars are amazing in the dark nite sky! The queen bunk beds were amazingly comfortable and fun to have a queen be on top bunk!! You can tell the host/ owner Captain Jon put lots of thought into the small details that make anglers rest a real cozy resting place after a day fishing, hiking or boating.
