Angel Inn Central

Well… the pictures don’t match the actual room. At all. Maybe the picture they used was from the hotel next door. Good news…. Haven’t found any bugs so we gonna say bug free.. room says $64 ends up being 208$ for two nights with fees.. bed sits on the floor. Caulking and mold in the bathroom needs dealt with. Smell is neutral headed towards musty. It is warm and shelter. On the plus side the bed was cozy!! Pretty sure the bedspread is from 1973 or 74. The furniture looks like it’s from some 1980s movie out in the desert somewhere. A warm place to stay on a cold night. Would take over any nice room with bedbugs… just sayn.

Clean rooms, well maintained, ours was on the lowest level, so we had several peaceful nights. The breakfast was good, what you’d expect from a hotel except the eggs had the texture of a over nuked foam rubber and we’re basically tasteless. Everything else tasted ok and the coffee was pretty good.

Open and honest: Not happy at all. I made the reservation and had to cancel it quickly after once I realized unaccompanied minors were not allowed to stay. I called them and canceled literally 5 minutes after I made the reservation. We received a call the day off travel and they asked if we were still coming we said no and told them we had already canceled. I called Booking.com to get a refund they opened a case up 60+days ago still no resolution. Booking.com continues to blame the hotel for not responding to their request for a refund. I called the again now at the 60+ day mark. With no resolution insight. Still waiting on this hotel to respond to their request investigation. So unhappy all around with the transaction as I did everything correctly on my end to get my refund. So I now have

Positive: It was so CLEAN and had a great breakfast! Negative: Way too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. It ruined my clothes and made my boyfriend sick. Still, we plan to return as everything else was perfect!

I was iffy about coming here with the reviews I read but ....it was affordable, yes the rooms are dated but everything was in order and contrary to other prior guests, I didn't see anything others have reported. No stained sheets, no bugs.....only muffins and bagels and juice for the "provided breakfast" can access pool if we call ahead and have them unlock the door, but not readily available. Overall though, not as bad as I was worried about. You get what you pay for lol
