Ancient Redwoods RV Park

A good stop over, beautiful scenery, and clean grounds. Plus, you've got to love the smell of Humboldt during harvest time. Really, a no frills RV park, smack in the middle of the coastal redwoods. Sites are close together, everything was very clean, large dog open dog area, small "country store" and Knick knack shop. Star link had clear shot, decent speeds. The South side of the park, the sites get decent shade, the middle sites get sun all day. All hookups worked as expected. There's a camp host, but you check in at the shop. Beautiful drive, beautiful area, beautiful smells.

A quiet, clean park nestled in the Redwoods along the Avenue of the Giants. We stayed a week in August and had beautiful weather. No noise at night, the grounds are well kept. There is a nice area for the dogs to play and a long hedge of blackberry bushes just ripening up. Not far off highway 101 and close to so many Redwood trails.

Ancient Redwoods RV Park Redcrest, CA|This is an average RV Park with above average fees and below average water pressure located in the heart of the Giant Redwood Forest. We booked for three nights to see all the various Redwood sights. The problem is with communications. One doesn’t realize the simple statement on their web site is understated since you are totally cut off from any phone service and using wi-fi certainly didn’t work as well. With a need for my family to keep in touch over a medical situation, I had to drive miles several times a day to get a signal to call home because they could not contact me. The situation was not getting better so after 2 nights we felt we had to move parks so our family could stay in touch and we let the Park owner know. The owner was not at

Rv park loated on the Ave of Gaints. Full hookups . Not overly large so reservations recommended especially peak season . There's a gift shop you can explore and nxt door a ice cream place.. The immortal tree is located there.

Had site 39. Paved with full hookups. Needed leveling boards. Clean park. Very convenient to all the area attractions. Nice to have a laundry facility. It takes quarters. WiFi good enough to stream tv. No Verizon service. Occasionally you would get service but not often. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
