Anchor Inn

Much younger feel for a historic Inn! Very well done. Please check out new pictures of unit 4. They all have the same decor each one a little unique. Wow they need to update the pictures of the Inn! Complete overhaul! Place is modern yet old Florida vibes! Beautiful finishes. All new kitchens. Comfy beds and linens. Everything you need right in the middle of town and walking distance to everything. Really a hidden gem on Boca. Wonderful history to the Anchor Inn ask the locals. Be sure to make reservations at Temptations for a memorable dining experience. And the lobster shop right out your front door! A breathe of fresh ocean air in Boca Grande!

My experience was a great one, they had beach towels chairs and a umbrella to use. Washers and dryer’s available. Pool was clean and warm perfect for a nice dip after dinner. Used the grill and fully equipped kitchen. Our unit was two story adding to the charm of this cozy inn. Towels were fluffy and sheets were great. The island is still recovering from hurricane Ian but making steady progress. We loved the location, close to everything! Highly recommend

This was our 4th visit to Boca Grande staying at the Anchor Inn. Of the 4 efficiencies, we took the smallest which is just a suite, but it has a nice bathroom and kitchen area, and we were only in for 2 nights. Linens all looked clean and fresh, with lots of spare towels and a couple of big ones for the pool outside the room. Plenty of kitchen stuff, though a couple of wine glasses would be helpful. Very convenient for everything, and the bakery is just down the street for grabbing breakfast.

Just returned again, Wonderful stay , Always love the peacefulness of Boca, So nice to get up in the morning , hop on the golf cart and ride to the corner bakery for the freshest bagels and fresh coffee, then just taking the day as it comes. They've added a nice grill out by the pool ( bring charcoal ) caught some fish (red fish) at Uncle Henrys fishing pier, came back and grilled it while we all hung out on the deck. Absolutely beautiful night. I love the fact that the owners pay attention to detail. We stayed in unit #3, new appliances and all new linen. we've never had a bad or disappointing stay and will continue to come back year after year. I think its our 8th or 9th year. Love the Anchor and always look forward to coming over the bridge,

This “inn” needs basics that any other accommodation would provide. It did not even have a bar of soap when we arrived. The office explained that is because it’s an “apartment”, not an “inn” as its sign says. Sheets are threadbare. No washer or dryer as any “apartment “ would have. Nice front porch and location. You can walk to one beach in about 10 minutes. But bring your own beach towels, chairs and umbrella if you want to use one.
