Amethyst Inn Bed & Breakfast

I booked a little getaway for my partner and I's anniversary here and it was so, so nice :) very quaint and stylish decorating, super homey, absolutely amazing staff. I've never felt more at home away from home before. The rooms are gorgeous and warm and cozy; we stayed in the Citrine Room which has a luxurious steam shower and direct access to the kitchens/complimentary tea, coffee, and snack area. I also highly recommend purchasing some add-ons for your stay!! We did the tea for two and it was WELL worth the money. Did I mention that there's a complimentary three course breakfast for every morning of your stay?? Everything Kimberly and her staff cooked was hearty, delicious, and made with incredible care. We absolutely loved our stay at the Amethyst Inn. The inn keeper, Kimberly was attentive and kind. The daily breakfast was truly a gourmet experience. A 3 course breakfast with fresh fruit yogurt parfaits, home made creative baked goods followed by a delicious egg and various protein entree. Every day was better than the last. It’s a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The amenities were fantastic. Plus you’re able to visit their critters. Very well kept goats, chickens and ducks. The location is very close to the wonderful PA Ren Faire. We have found a new home base for our renn faire travels. Thank you Amethyst Inn, we will be back. We haven’t been this relaxed in years.

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway at the Amethyst Inn. It is a beautiful home and our room was perfect. We stayed in the Amber Room and the jacuzzi and the gas fire place were such a treat. The bed was very comfortable as well. The highlight of our trip was the daily 3 course breakfast. Kimberly even accommodated my gluten free and dairy free diet. She is so thoughtful and solicitous. We had several inches of snow both days and the parking lot & driveway were cleared very quickly. I felt like we were in a Hallmark movie! 10/10 We plan to return!

I should have posted this a year ago and apologize to Kimberly the owner. I organized a surprise 70th birthday weekend for one of my sister's, and Kimberly was so helpful and added many birthday surprises in our room. The Inn is so charming and you feel like you're visiting your grandma's home. Everything was clean, and Kimberly makes an amazing breakfast every morning😋. We were so full, we skipped lunch every day which gave us more time to go antique shopping (the Inn is located close to multiple antique stores). Kimberly and her family were making improvements to the Inn and we definitely will return to see her progress and have another wonderful weekend! Thank you Kimberly 😊

This was our third time staying at the Amethyst Inn Bed & Breakfast, and honestly, we keep coming back for a reason! It truly feels like coming home, but with much better breakfast! The rooms are so cute and charming, each one with its own unique, cozy personality. But what makes the experience truly exceptional is Kimberly. She is an amazing host, so sweet, incredibly accommodating, and always has the best local recommendations. She makes you feel instantly welcomed and cared for. ​And the breakfast... oh my goodness. It is insanely good! It's a full 3-course meal every morning that is gourmet and absolutely delicious.
