AmericInn by Wyndham St. Peter

The woman who checked us in was cheerful, friendly and thoughtful. She anticipated our needs before we did. She kept her demeanor in the early morning when we were in search of snacks. The property was spotless from the parking lot, to the entry way, the rooms, the breakfast area (bathed in morning sun). The lobby had many nice touches both architecturally and furnishing wise. We've stayed at many AmericInn and this was the absolute best! Thank you for a fabulous experience!

We were traveling and just going with the flow and decided to stop when we were tired which was about 2:00 AM. The front desk clerk was friendly, inviting, and efficient. Our room was smaller than we were used and there was a musty smell but the bed was comfortable, the showers strong and most importantly clean. The breakfast had only one hot food option which was biscuits and gravy but that was good. Overall, we’d stay again if traveling through the area.

Stayed here with friends while attending Christmas in Christ Chapel at Gustavus Adolphus College. This motel is a great value. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily. The lobby area was warm and inviting, and we spent quite a bit of time socializing there. Front-desk staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee in the lobby was fine, but there's also a Caribou Coffee right next door. You can get a tasty, economical meal at the Co-Op and shop at the Swedish Kontour Shop and Contents.

I paid a bit extra for AmericInn since their rating was better.  We were in St. Peter for a surgery at their hospital as I broke my knee cap.  1.  We were not given the discount for having the surgery.2.  Worse than #1. We were given a room on the 2nd floor with no elevator and me on crutches. 3.  Worse than that was the clerks response to my questioning, “ no elevator”. The clerk stated that I should have requested the “Special Need” for an elevator on my reservation.  My reservation was not refundable.4.  I had to sign up for AmericInn “special rewards” program to avoid having to pay $5.  The internet was so slow I could not get a program to sign me in (I tried 3 times and I received a message that I was timed out”)Bad experience with AmericInn.  Once I receive a response on this complia

Every time we come here for a lil day get away it's a gem. Shannon is amazing 😍 such a kind soul! She is so caring!! And Attentive! She made our experience that much better. We always come back!
