Americas Best Value Inn Sarasota Downtown

Great price to be a 5-minute drive from downtown. You get what you pay for in terms of room quality – my room smelled strongly of old carpet and mold. I only stayed a night but had to wash all my clothes once I got home. Bed is comfy, AC is cold, and the balcony was nice, so overall this isn't a bad place to crash for a night.

Really appreciated the politeness of the staff, perhaps owners, at check-in and the following morning. The room was well cleaned and very comfortable. The heater didn't work but it's not the only hotel I experienced that issue so maybe there's a reason. I slept wonderfully, and while it was just moments before 11, I was extended an extra 30 minutes for a late checkout. I would check back in there any day of the week.

The hotel needs to be demolished Bathrooms can cause ring worm type problems on how dirty and old this motel keeps them. The Wi-Fi only works 1% of the time Guest have to repair most items in the room, including clogs sink, shower drain ( disgusting ) toilet If you do come here make sure you bring Clorox, a disposable Bath mat, shower shoes, bug spray, owe and a blanket as you won’t get one. The only thing the value this place has is it location, other then that ( get ride of the rude owners, spend a few dollars ) and offer a pleasant experience

Positive: Nothing Negative: Very dirty Balcon is not clean. You can sit down bath shower was dark in the bottom wall and around was dirty floor in the bathroom no clean. I don?t believe why this hotel is open in beautiful area Sarasota very dirty outside before you get in the room

Good location but the room had a musty smell, people downstairs smoking loads of cannabis and the smell kept coming through my window (the window seal not great, could also hear everything outside), the bathroom was dirty, the bath didn't fill (plug was broken). I appreciated the fresh towels each day. There were a number of USB charger spots which was good. The AC in the room was good. The furniture and carpet was super old/dated. Great location, right next to a supermarket and an easy walk/drive to beaches and downtown. Avoid the breakfast, everything had been taken out of original wrapping and placed into individual plastic bags - Can't see the best before date, no idea who has handled the food, how long they have been in these bags etc etc. If you want no thrills, this is a good spot.
