Americas Best Value Inn Fredonia, NY

I’ve booked with booking and paid. When I’ve arrived … I couldn’t have my room because they won’t open to public anymore. Ask booking for a refund but they need the hotel to answer their emails sent by them and they don’t so I can’t get my refund. I’m extremely mad. I keep calling the hotel and they don’t want to do nothing about it. What a scam.

My room was not swept nor mopped .. didn't smell clean. Lady at desk was nice . She told me no pets nor smoking in room. everyone I saw had a pet. Smoking area had pet shit every where on the grass. Lot of foot traffic.

Positive: The price an location were both exceptional Negative: I do not like exterior doors from my room. When traveling alone, they pose an additional security threat

My husband stayed here for 5 nights in room 117A while he was in the area for work. When making the reservation it said that there was a microwave in the room. There was not. The only microwave is the one in the lobby and it looks like it has never been cleaned... EVER. It was disgusting. The refrigerator in the room was not level. It rocked back and forth and the door drug on the floor when opening and closing it. The bathroom sink drains very slow. Every time he tried to make coffee the breaker tripped. He ended up having to make coffee in the bathroom. The cell phone service in the building is AWFUL.... constantly dropping calls and texts come through hours later. (And it wasn't his phone because it worked fine everywhere else.) The only really good thing was the location.

Positive: Quiet, close to shopping, food choices and the lake Negative: People hanging out in check in area
