Americas Best Value Inn Elm Creek

We stayed at America’s Best Value Inn in Elm Creek, NE, and had a great experience! Rigo bought the place just two months ago and runs a cleaning business, so everything was spotless and up to standard. He even brought us fresh sheets without asking and was super friendly. We got the Wi-Fi password right away without requesting it. The past negative reviews were from the previous ownership. Rigo knows what he’s doing and truly cares about his guests. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel and extremely friendly staff behind the front desk. Rooms are big, comfortable and very clean . Quality/price ration is huge .

For the price other comparable motels I’ve stayed in are better, but it was alright. The owners are friendly and the service is good, this place just needs a renovation. Rooms have microwave/refrigerator, but the mattresses are old and the room had a funny smell (not moldy, like some kind of citrus cleaner) The shower took about 10 minutes to start running hot water. It is convenient to get on/off the interstate and they have dedicated truck parking. I’d stay here again if I ever had to. The room was clean (as clean as it could be). Again, the physical plant just needs work.

The staff here were very kind, but it was not worth the $90 that they charge. The rooms were not too bad, the A/C, fridge and microwave work well. The comforters on the beds are paper thin, and don't provide any blankets unless you ask, which isn't a big deal, but it's inconvenient. They also only provided the WiFi after I asked for it, instead of having it posted on the room, and then it was slow and spotty. The biggest thing is that there appeared to be mold under the anti-slip bathtub flooring. The bath drain plug is broken and doesn't work. Overall the place just want well maintained at all.

The room was clean. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee or condiments. The refrigerator and tv worked. The lobby is set up for continental breakfast, but breakfast is not served. The only thing available is coffee. Still, this motel is significantly improved over its condition five years ago.
