Americas Best Value Inn Dunnigan

Stayed at this hotel in Dec 2024 thinking "how bad could it be?". It was comically bad. The bedroom stank, the heater barely worked. The lamp by the bed had a dried up hot sauce packet stuck to it along with grime everywhere else. The cabinet where the tube television was supposed to be was missing the tv (shocker) and was severely damaged, like someone took a bat to it. The front desk was pleasant but by morning, my wife and I were the ONLY people on the property. No guests. No staff. It was so bizarre. I took a lap around the parking lot looking for signs of life and we were the only two souls there. Truly a unique roadside hazard of a motel to be avoided, unless you're into experiences that are simultaneously weird and unclean.

Great little side of the road hotel perfectly located in front of Electrify America rapid chargers and behind jack in the box. My husband and I stayed the night to drive up to Cache Creek. Very quiet and relaxing short stay. The rooms were clean and the linens were comfortable. We had four pillows with their king size bed and it was the perfect ratio.

Staff and management quickly handled an issue. Showing they not only care about the service they are providing but they care enough to correct any mistakes. For the customer service & how swiftly they handled a situation, I was pleased with my stay. Let alone surprised at their efforts. Great staff.

The rooms were extremely large and even had a sofa place is quiet and located right off the highway with food near by

Positive: Very low deposit amount and being able to pay it with cash. Negative: There was not any breakfast. No microwave in the room. Housekeeping was knocking to clean the room 1 and 1/2 hours before check out time. No built in USB charging ports. Took almost 15 min for water to get hot.
