Americas Best Value Inn Beardstown

The hotel ok as far as the room my blanket had holes in it and the bed spread was dirty. there was supposed to be a continental breakfast from 6 to 9 am went down at 6:15 no one was in the lobby there was nothing set up for breakfast, the orange juice machine did not work, the coffee was warm at best. I believe if you advertise breakfast you should serve breakfast. my overall review is Poor

Though in the process of remodeling; the rooms were clean. The cleaning lady named Milagro was very helpful. I had a sign to not disturb on my door but when I came out she asked if I needed anything. She gave me fresh towels and took my trash. The manager also brought me a hair dryer. For a quick trip I would recommend this hotel. It was quiet, clean and affordable. Also restaurants all in walking vicinity. Staff was very nice and helpful.

February 2026 the hotel is remodeling and took out the indoor pool. They told us this is why they are not offering continental breakfast as advertised. No hair dryer in room as advertised either. Coffeemaker in room also did not work. King bed in suite (room #200) was comfortable but very high off the floor so be wary if you are short. King suite had large "L" shaped couch with a pullout double bed that wasn't advertised, but may be something useful to note. Conveniently located directly off the highway, but that did make it very noisy. Not worth mentioning all the other small things, but be warned: definitely call ahead to ask if you have concerns about any of this.

Finding the hotel was not an issue and the staff was polite and helpful. When checking in and going to the room I found the room to be very big and comfortable. I was actually very pleased with the accommodations. My only gripe or recommendation for this location would be to place a light at the entrance of the hotel property for ease of identifying at night/low light times. I drove past the entrance and had to go a mile down the road to turn around before finding the parking entrance. Aside from that this place is very nice and I would be happy to stay again if in the area.
