Americana Motel

I was pleased to see a motel in distance. Ease to Saskatchewan. Was not expecting much from it. Although the room was more or less than 10x5. Nice lady that was manager/owner gave me a okay room. Bed was fine. They let me use my battery charger because my car died. In winter they close sidewalks. Like 100-250 ft from the border. Had to get some USD for it. Was moving and stayed for a 3 days

This place was a life saver... Like the other reviews say, "small rooms". But they were clean and warm. I was stranded here for 3 days because of an ice storm. This is the ONLY motel for miles and miles. It's about 300 feet from the Canadian border crossing. Staff is friendly and they let me plug in my engine block heater for no extra charge. This town rolls up their sidewalks at around 3.pm in the winter. So, don't expect much.

Very friendly and polite. The heat didn't work in our room Duncan was very accommodating and moved us to another room. Rooms are small. Over all not bad.

Very small rooms. Bout 10×10 ft. Not disgusting tho. Fullsize bed, microwave, tv. It's the only hotel for miles so they have you by the short hairs. On Saturdays and Sundays you better get here early if you want a room because the guy that gives you the room key also runs the gas station and he leaves at 5 o'clock. I arrived at 5:01 pm and the door to the gas station was locked and lights were out. Luckily he was still standing at the register. They neglected to mention that on the phone when I got my reservation.

My room was VERY DIRTY and left with bedbugs! Have stayed in this hotel the past several years and it was in the worst condition I’ve seen it in. After reaching out to the manager and letter her know I never received a call back from her and certainly not even an apology. I don’t plan on returning or would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone! Enter at your own risk!
