I once on my Harley Davidson without a helmet strayed in NY. state. I pulled into the American Legion to collect me thoughts and have a beer. The patrons there politely stated the NY. helmet law facts. To my surprise they had the decency to offer me a loner helmet, so that I can continue my travels nice, I had another beer, thank them all and went back into me home state Connecticut. Talk about decent Americans, you'll find some at the NY. American Legion #178, nice. God Bless America! 🦅
